Walking out of the darkness and into the Light

Hi, again :) Daughter of the King signing in. This week was simply beautiful. I took the some photos. The sun was shining beautifully and I just had to capture the beauty.

Anywhoooo... It's been a busy week for me, with exams and everything but God, yet again proved faithful. Last week was a really tough week, I was pressed by condemnation and guilt and I decided early in the week that I wasn't going to church on Sunday. I can be very stubborn, it's something I have to pray about often. I told God I wasn't going to go church feeling the way I did. Sunday morning came and as soon as I opened my eyes, God told me to get up get dressed and go to church. I did it grudgingly but by the time I stepped through the church doors, I knew it was the right thing. My mood lifted and I knew I had nothing to feel guilty about. I realised it was the enemy attempting to keep me burdened under a load of guilt for something I had already confessed and repented of. Also, a lady from my church told me during the service that she had something for me. It turned out to be money and it helped tremendously throughout this week. I just want to say that when we obey God, we are blessed and I'm not talking about financial blessings. He blesses us when we obey in faith, even if it's with His peace because that peace is better than any amount of money that we could receive.

Also, I just want to tell you, you don't need to live in condemnation and guilt. I was sitting and meditating a day last week and God showed me that I was carrying a weight that I should not be bearing. I was weighted down and burdened with the guilt of my sin. If you're in the same position, if you have repented(confessed, asked for forgiveness and stopped sinning), you should not be living with any sort of guilt, so if you are it's time to take a stand and tell the enemy that he is a liar. You need to turn toward the cross of Christ and believe in the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. (Psalm 103:12) says "...as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgression from us".

Did you know that if you go north long enough you will end up going south? However, the east and the west never meet; so just like they don't meet, you should never come into contact with guilt, shame or condemnation for something that you have repented of. So, dear brother or sister in Christ, I plead with you, the guilt is keeping you in darkness. Accept God's forgiveness, forgive yourself and step into His glorious, marvelous and awe-inspriring light. Do not forget that you have an enemy, do not continue to beat yourself up about what you've done, start fighting again, start running this race again, run it with perseverance. The Spirit of the Lord is with you and with Him nothing is impossible so as (1 Cor 9:24-26) says "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air." So continue to run this race with perseverance, Jesus loves you more than you can comprehend. Psalm 36:5 says "Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies." God loves you, the only thing left for you to do is accept that love and continue to remain and walk in the light of His presence :) ~ Daughter of the King, until we meet again ;) Bye
