Hi again :)!! This is Daughter of the King, I hope you've been doing well since I last posted. This post is a short one and it has to do with TRUTH, otherwise known as the LIFE, the WAY, the WORD. I look around the world today and I hurt. I am truly burdened by the state of the church. The mandate to set an example and be ambassadors has been thrown out the window, legalism has been imposed, prosperity gospel is being preached and the TRUTH is being removed from it's rightful place: the forefront of everything we do, of everything that we are. We, the church, the bride of Christ, the body of Christ are distorting the WORD. What we don't realise is that without the WORD, without the TRUTH we are nothing!! Denominational barriers have prevented us from being one as Christ commanded us to be. I would really like to shake us all awake to the reality that nothing and I mean NOTHING matters except CHRIST and Him crucified and that is what we are supposed to preach. We are to present to the world the image of Christ and His sacrifice. We must not remove the WORD from among us, we must not distort it, add or take away anything from it. The WORD is TRUTH and JESUS is the TRUTH. So let's start accepting, acknowledging and living the TRUTH. It starts with us as individuals, present CHRIST and Him alone. It's not for us to negotiate the terms of salvation with anyone, God has already laid out that in His Word. Repentance is not negotiable, God demands it. We can do nothing to save a single soul out there, so trying to make Christianity look appealing cannot and will not save souls. We must allow God's Spirit to do that. Our jobs are to be vessels, jars of clay, the hands and feet of JESUS. The video is amazing, it has soooo much truth in it....
